<h3>Book API</h3>

The Book API is a RESTful API built with Node.js, designed to manage book records in a simple, efficient, and scalable way. The application uses MongoDB for data persistence and provides endpoints for creating, listing, querying by ID, updating, and removing records.

The project was structured following development best practices, with a layered organization for routes, controllers, and configuration, making the code cleaner, more modular, and easier to maintain.

To ensure the quality and reliability of the application, automated tests were implemented with Cypress, validating the API's main flows and ensuring the endpoints work correctly.

This project demonstrates knowledge in REST API development, integration with the MongoDB database, CRUD operations, automated testing, backend application architecture, and software engineering best practices, demonstrating a quality- and reliability-oriented approach — essential skills for working as a QA Engineer/SDET.
